Often there are many individual departments providing information for a brief, so a consolidated brief is a combination of all of these. The consolidated brief, often referred to as a 'reverse' brief because we are providing information back to the client, can be very instrumental in a review process to validate all separate department briefs and ensure they are acceptable to the client’s management before undertaking a design.
